Your role and responsibilities
As a Band 10 Associate Partner (SAP- Financial Services Sector), you are a senior-level leader responsible for driving the business and delivery of SAP-based solutions for manufacturing/industrial clients. You act both as a sales/business builder and a delivery leader: you help win new SAP engagements (or expand existing ones) and ensure successful implementation/delivery of SAP solutions that meet clients’ needs. Strong knowledge of SAP PP, PPDS, IBP and integration with other SAP modules.
You are a trusted advisor to clients — engaging with their senior executives (C-level, Ops Heads, Supply Chain / Manufacturing leadership) — and internally you lead or coordinate cross-functional teams (SAP technical, consulting, industry experts) to design, deliver, and maintain SAP solutions tailored for financial services operations.
Because IBM’s SAP practice is closely aligned with digital transformation, cloud, and industry-specific solutions, this role may also involve integrating SAP with newer technologies (e.g. cloud, data, analytics, AI, IoT) to deliver modern capabilities.
Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week subject to business needs.
This position can be performed anywhere in the United States
Required technical and professional expertise
Ideal candidates with have a strong mix of business and technical skills with the ability to translate complex business processes into SAP functions. Understanding od the different domains within the SAP ecosystem covering ERP, EPM and CRM.
Preferred technical and professional experience
10+ years in the financial services and SAP or Oracle ecosystems operating in Banking, Insurance or Capital Markets.
