Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties primarily include teaching introductory math courses. Service responsibilities, such as support for departmental curriculum / pedagogy development or student advising may also be assigned.
Minimum Experience / Education:
UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned masters and/or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree (Lecturer) or doctoral degree (Assistant Teaching Professor) in math or a related area, and at least one year of experience teaching introductory college math courses, and experience in teaching actuarial courses, including passing actuarial exams.
