Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties primarily include establishing and maintaining an active research program in mathematics education and seek external funding; teaching undergraduate courses for K-12 pre-service teachers, especially methods courses for middle and secondary pre-service teachers; supporting the Math Pathways initiative; teaching graduate courses for the master’s and doctoral students; providing service to the department, the university, and the profession
Minimum Experience / Education:
UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Preferred qualifications include K-16 teaching experience or equivalent teaching experience and evidence of potential to obtain external funding.
