Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties primarily include establishing and maintaining an active research program in statistics and seek external funding; Teaching undergraduate courses and advising undergraduate research experience programs; Teaching graduate courses (master’s and doctoral levels) and advising graduate students; Providing service to the department, the University, and the profession.
Minimum Experience / Education:
UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Preferred qualifications include research and teaching experience in statistics; a strong research interest in statistics, biostatistics, or applied statistics; evidence of potential to obtain external funding.
