ManpowerGroup Application Control Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Application Control Specialist to join their team. As an Application Control Specialist, you will be part of the Security and Risk Management department supporting multiple Agile Integration Teams (AITs). The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive communication, analytical thinking, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Application Control Specialist

Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid 3 days onsite)

Pay Range: $65.00/hr

What's the Job?

  • Identify, prioritize, and actively remediate security vulnerabilities within the organization.

  • Investigate security issues hands-on and implement effective solutions.

  • Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure security protocols are maintained and improved.

  • Support vulnerability management processes and contribute to continuous security enhancements.

  • Maintain documentation and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

What's Needed?

  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and remediation.

  • Previous experience in a large financial services environment (Bank of America strongly preferred or comparable Tier 1 bank).

  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, assertive working style.

  • Relevant certifications demonstrating security and risk domain knowledge (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISMITIL v2RHEL certification).

  • Must be a USC/GC/H4 visa holder and convertible.
