What You'll Be Doing
Oversee daily ready-mix plant operations to ensure safe, efficient production
Lead and support plant staff to achieve operational and quality goals
Monitor concrete quality, inventory levels, and equipment performance
Coordinate scheduling, dispatching, and customer service needs
Maintain compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
What We Are Looking For
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on safety and team development
Excellent organizational and administrative capability, able to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast‑paced production environment
Knowledge of ready-mix operations, equipment, or similar industrial processes
Problem-solving mindset with commitment to quality and continuous improvement
Effective communication skills for working with customers, drivers, and plant teams
Comfort with technology and systems, including Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel, and PDF documentation (SAP experience a plus)
Work Environment
Primarily based at a ready‑mix concrete plant in Charleston, WV, with responsibility for up to four sites within a 40‑mile radius
Monday–Friday schedule, typically 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, on rare occasions there are earlier starts or depending on business needs. Saturday work is very rare
Combination of indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to varying weather conditions, moving equipment, and typical industrial noise levels
Role involves frequent walking, standing, ladder climbing, and site presence in support of daily plant operations
Occasional overnight travel for business meetings, required training, and periodic travel to the corporate office
