Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description
The Supply Specialist performs essential materials, distribution, and logistics tasks within the department of Materials Management, supporting clinical activities within the medical complex. The role focuses on determining replenishment requirements, locating, selecting, documenting the issue of, and distributing medical supplies, as well as documenting the receipt and distribution of supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities
Determine replenishment requirements for medical supplies.
Locate, select, and document the issuance of supplies.
Distribute medical supplies efficiently.
Document the receipt and distribution of supplies and equipment.
Perform inventory management, material handling, picking, and packing tasks.
Use RF scanners for order picking and inventory management.
Handle shipping, receiving, and logistics tasks.
Conduct packaging and labeling tasks.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in inventory management and material handling.
Experience with picking, packing, scanning, shipping, and receiving.
Ability to use RF scanners and SAP software.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Computer literacy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
One year of related work experience.
Ability to work rotating weekends, shifts, and holidays.
Experience in logistics, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and climate-controlled, located within a hospital setting. Employees enjoy a team-oriented atmosphere with a dress code of scrubs or office casual attire with sneakers. Shift times include Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends (every other weekend) and some holidays required, with shifts from 3am-11:30am, 5am-1:30pm, and 12pm-8:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.
