Scientific Research Corporation System Testing Engineer (SSEE) in Charleston, South Carolina
Description
Provides Subject Matter Expertise recommendations on testing requirements
Performs system level software testing to accurately validate operational readiness
Translates user requirements into tasks to execute as a member of the test team
Performs document reviews for technical accuracy
Identifies basic test and evaluation methodologies for new systems and system updates
Generates T-E planning, execution and reporting documentation

Requirements
Must possess an active DoD TS/SCI clearance
Eight years of Navy Shipboard Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) system operations, or equivalent experience is required
Shipboard systems may include, but are not limited to:
Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Increment E/F
Integrated Submarine Communications Receiving System (ISCRS)
Cryptologic Carry-On Program (CCOP) systems
Must be able to perform work within equipment spaces onboard US Navy platforms
Strong writing and speaking skills; experience leading and working in a diverse group of coworkers
and community of interest
Ability to follow configuration documentation and procedures is required
Work independently but collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide consulting and control design recommendations to reduce risk
Travel may be required for this position

SSEE Increment F NEC C21A
Completion of TST 102 Fundamentals of Test and Evaluation and TST 1100 Intro to Systems Engineering for Testers
Demonstrated experience with best test practices, including formal, requirements-based testing
Clearance Information
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL
