The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Project Manager to lead a critical project for the Department of Defense. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and a broad array of talent dedicated to advancing digital transformation initiatives.
Provide critical support across a broad array of responsibilities to include all phases of agile requirements, development, testing, cybersecurity, etc. Manage project deliverables, schedules, subcontractors, budget and risk. Communicate directly with internal and multiple external stakeholders regarding project objectives, requirements, and integration.
This position is in Charleston, SC.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison with government leads to enhance deliverable quality and turnaround.
Proactively identify and resolve potential issues in collaboration with leadership.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and initiatives.
Lead Agile activities including Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Release Reviews.
Manage project deliverables, schedules, subcontractors, budget, and risk.
Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and best practices.
Foster a collaborative environment to drive project success.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Facilitate regular project meetings and status reviews with stakeholders.
Actively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Ensure work is performed with reasonable quality, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the performance of technical professionals and subcontractors.
Lead the project team to ensure all project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Facilitate regular project meetings and status reviews with stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and best practices. Capture new lessons learned.
Foster a collaborative environment to drive project success.
Provide and update an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and create Project GANTT charts.
Help track project finances to ensure funding continuity; assist in creating revenue forecasts and analyzing issues.
Support the planning and coordination of project activities to ensure timely delivery.
Review deliverables and support project lifecycle (initiation, monitoring, closeout).
Monitor project team performance, including subcontractor, to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Support the technical performance of assigned projects, ensuring delivery within budget and schedule.
Monitor and maintain subcontractors’ performance related to quality, scheduling, and planning.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
PMP, SCRUM Master, or other relevant project management certifications.
Minimum of 7 years in IT project management, with a focus on large-scale projects.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud services.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
Proficiency in project management tools.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) or similar government contracts.
Ability to quickly adapt and operate in an agile work environment.
Desired:
Experience in customer, vendor, and subcontractor interface.
Technical experience supporting US Navy projects and programs.
DoD Secret clearance (or willingness to obtain) with potential to upgrade to Top Secret.
Management of multiple projects simultaneously.
Management of >$10M projects.
Management of 50+ employees.

Pay Range :
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$65,000 - $136,500
