Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the housekeeping operations within our hotel. This role is a great opportunity for a motivated professional to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence, ensuring smooth daily operations and stepping in for the Housekeeping Manager when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met across assigned sections.
Assist in developing work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and quality.
Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
Train, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
Assume all Housekeeping Manager responsibilities in their absence, including administrative tasks and staff management.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and stock levels.
Enforce safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests.
Requirements

At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related hospitality environment.
High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple priorities while maintain a positive attitude.
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties and stand for extended periods.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures.
Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
