Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the housekeeping operations within our hotel. This role is a great opportunity for a motivated professional to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence, ensuring smooth daily operations and stepping in for the Housekeeping Manager when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met across assigned sections.

  • Assist in developing work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and quality.

  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.

  • Train, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.

  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.

  • Assume all Housekeeping Manager responsibilities in their absence, including administrative tasks and staff management.

  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and stock levels.

  • Enforce safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests.

Requirements

  • At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related hospitality environment.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple priorities while maintain a positive attitude.

  • Physical ability to perform cleaning duties and stand for extended periods.

  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures.

  • Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
