Job Title: Mechanical Drafter
Job Description
As a Mechanical Drafter, you will play a crucial role in creating and modifying general arrangement and physical outline drawings using current generation AutoCAD software. Your work will support the customer approval and manufacturing processes for circuit breaker products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all deliverables. Upward mobility into a Mechanical Engineering role.
Responsibilities
Generate, modify, and organize general arrangement and physical outline drawings accurately and on time for customer approval and manufacture of Circuit Breaker products.
Perform CAD file conversions as needed.
Utilize ProEngineer to generate 3D models for customer circuit breakers upon request.
Review mechanical and electrical drawing packages for technical and typographical errors.
Prepare approval/as-built drawing packages, CT curves, and test reports for customer submittal.
Manage and maintain all circuit breaker engineering drawing files within the document management system (EDMATS).
Prepare device tag files for procurement by the planning team.
Update order tracking record database with accurate data.
Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
Follow factory and specifications as well as applicable national and international standards.
Assist Production, Industrialization, Sourcing, and Quality departments as needed.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical CAD software.
Familiarity with drafting, 3D modeling, or mechanical design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school in Drafting, 3D Modeling, or Mechanical Design.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleroi, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
