Thunder Mountain Bike Park - Tech Charlemont, MA, USA \$17.00 -\$19.00 - pay based on experience Hourly - Seasonal Free use all activities at Berkshire East, Zoar Outdoor and Catamount Mountain Resort, friends and family vouchers, food and merchandise discounts TECH Thunder Mountain Bike Park is hiring Bike Rental Techs for the 2026 Bike Park Season! Job duties included but are not limited to--basic bike maintenance, bike+pad washing, and getting customers set up on their bikes each day. Ideal applicants are eager and willing to learn, come with previous interest and mountain bike knowledge, and are excited to work in a fast paced and fun environment. Bike shop experience is a huge plus but not absolutely required. We look forward to hearing from you! Weekend availability is required. Start is Mid-May, and can accommodate weekend work only until school is out. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Identify faults, damage, and wear on mountain bikes. Wash and clean bikes. Keep the workshop clean, maintain tools & equipment in good repair. Test ride bikes to diagnose or to ensure they are functioning properly. Inspect returning rental bikes before they return to bike rental fleet. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) Skilled in providing outstanding customer service. Experience with current mountain bike technology. Able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment. Mountain bike riding experience required. Work Standards: Maintain high standards in the quality & consistency of work. Physical Demands Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 60 lbs. Must be able to stand, bend, climb, lift, reach, push and pull repetitively. Must be mentally attentive and focused at all times.
