The Chardon Surgery Center is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center located in Chardon, Ohio. Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the achievement of patient outcomes in accordance with the mission of the facility. To assist in the organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with established federal, state, and Joint Commission regulations and Center policies and procedures. To assist Surgical Technologists and Physicians in direct patient care. To maintain a high standard of safety for the patient and staff members. Patient liaison for care rendered. Monitor stock levels, outdated supplies and equipment needs and report to Materials Management Coordinator. Serve as a role model and leader for Technologists and Nursing Assistants.
Qualifications
Position Requirements
Licenses or Certifications: Current licensure to practice in the State of Ohio. Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support Course; ACLS preferred and PALS preferred.
Education, Vocational Training and Experience
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. Current ACLS preferred and PALS certificate preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in perioperative nursing preferred.
