Vintage & Auto Rebuilds, Inc. is dedicated to the preservation of early 1900's English automobiles, specifically Rolls-Royce and Bentley. We specialize in restorations, repairs and maintenance on vehicles trusted with us from all over the world. Our work is displayed and awarded at numerous prestigious automobile events. We have a position available for a **MANUAL MACHINIST.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating manual vertical mills and horizontal engine lathes to repair and/or make various auto parts. Our manual machinists are expected to be able to recognize good vs bad parts, troubleshoot, fix problems, create like parts, hold tolerances and document their work. Our manual machinists work closely with our general manager and mechanics team to help reverse engineer and fit parts. This is not production machining. Must be able to create parts without prints.
Ideal candidates should have experience with manual machine set up and operation, trouble shooting and repairing machinery, working with and without prints and completing assigned tasks. Having knowledge of shop equipment, tools and measuring devices is a must. Candidates must be extremely organized and mechanically inclined.
The hours are 7:00am -- 5:30pm Monday -- Thursday with overtime as needed. The pay range is $24 - $27 per hour depending on experience and is negotiable. We offer holiday and PTO pay, uniforms, healthcare benefits, retirement plan and more.
