Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Artificial Intelligence Solutions Consultant, as part of the Digital Capabilities team under Digital Technology & Innovation. This role helps shape shared AI platform capabilities that support teams across the enterprise in a hybrid technology environment, including on‑premises and cloud‑based solutions.

In this role, you will contribute to end‑to‑end product ownership for core AI infrastructure capabilities, working with partners across engineering, cloud platforms, and AI product teams. You will help define and maintain a product roadmap that balances innovation, operational reliability, security, and cost efficiency, while supporting a wide range of AI and advanced analytics use cases.
You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate business needs, platform requirements, and governance considerations into clear priorities and outcomes. This includes aligning shared infrastructure capabilities—such as platforms, services, and supporting tooling—into a cohesive experience that enables scalable and well‑governed AI solutions across the enterprise.
In this role, you will:
Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for enterprise AI infrastructure across hybrid on‑premises and cloud environments, ensuring platforms are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost‑effective.
Own shared AI platform capabilities end‑to‑end, partnering closely with infrastructure, cloud, and engineering teams to deliver solutions that support a wide range of AI and advanced analytics workloads.
Translate business needs, operational priorities, and regulatory considerations into clear product goals, features, and success measures, balancing performance, reliability, security, and financial efficiency.
Collaborate with risk, security, architecture, and line‑of‑business stakeholders to enable well‑governed, production‑ready AI solutions while managing cross‑team dependencies and execution risks.
Influence stakeholders across the organization, provide strategic direction, and mentor team members contributing to complex, enterprise‑scale initiatives.
Lead a team to identify, strategize and execute highly complex Artificial Intelligence initiatives that span a line of business
Recommend business strategy and deliver Artificial Intelligence enabling solutions to solve business challenges
Define and prioritize cases, obtain the required resources and ensure the solutions deliver the intended benefits
Leverage Artificial Intelligence expertise to evaluate technological readiness and resources required to execute the proposed solutions
Make decisions to drive the implementation of Artificial Intelligence initiatives and programs while serving multiple stakeholders
Resolve issues which may arise during development or implementation
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Artificial Intelligence Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of hands‑on product ownership experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure, and container orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
Desired Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with crafting and managing public cloud Generative AI services, offerings and hybrid deployment patterns
Experience working with cloud‑based AI or advanced analytics solutions, including exposure to hybrid or enterprise deployment environments
General understanding of AI or data platforms and the factors that influence performance, scalability, and efficiency
Familiarity with modern compute platforms or infrastructure technologies, including hardware‑accelerated or distributed systems
Knowledge of operational best practices such as monitoring, cost awareness, and capacity or demand planning for shared platforms
Strong ability to communicate technical concepts and tradeoffs clearly to a wide range of audiences, including senior leaders

MN- Minneapolis Pay Range: $159,000 – $254,000 Annually

CA- Concord Pay Range: $191,000 – $305,000 Annually

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
