Job Description
Take the next step in your career and join an international consultancy as a Senior Civil Engineer in our Water Infrastructure Team. With our focus and strategy on working across all stages of the asset lifecycle, across all industry sectors, we offer a broad variety of office and site-based opportunities.
Our strengths and industry leadership are in digital engineering in water and wastewater planning, engineering and construction across multiple sectors, and we have a broad client base across numerous industries.
As a senior member of our team, you will be an active participant in the continued growth and success of our business. You will be involved in the delivery of exceptional technical work, liaison with internal and external clients as well as mentoring and developing our more junior team members.
Would be beneficial to have experience in working on water and wastewater treatment projects (hydraulic design, etc.).
Must show experience in taking projects from design through to construction (i.e. show evidence of practical experience).
Must support technical mentorship to primarily the local (Centurion) engineering team but also the water systems team across Africa.
Preferable to have experience in Africa and International.
Minimum Requirements :
Experience working on water infrastructure projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment
Water and wastewater experience across specific or broader industry asset lifecycle stages
Tender and Bid exposure – desirable
Passion for delivering high quality work
Wadiso / Epanet, or similar (water network analyses)
Hydraulic design analyses
3D design modelling package (C3D, Revit, Inventor, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications :
B. Eng (Civ/Mech/Chem) or B.Sc (Civ/Mech/Chem) (Master would be beneficial)
Pr. Eng
8+ years’ experience after obtainment of Qualification
