City of Centralia Lineman in Centralia, Washington
Date Open: March 11, 2026 Date Closes: Open until filled, first review of applications will be on March 25, 2026 Status: full-time, IBEW union Salary: $62.08/hr (Table-L, 17-G) (2025 rates) (Current Collective Bargaining Agreement is in negotiations)
General Function: Operates heavy and specialized equipment to construct and maintain transmission and distribution lines.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. is required and must be a fully qualified journeyman level lineman. Require valid Washington State driver's license with acceptable driving record, with CDL Class A endorsement. Must obtain CDL Tanker endorsement within 6 months. CPR, first aid and flaggers cards required or ability to obtain each within 6 months.
