ManpowerGroup Brake Press Operator in Centralia, Illinois
Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Brake Press Operator to join their team. As a Brake Press Operator, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Brake Press Operator
Location: Centralia, IL
Pay Range: $19
Shift: All 3 Shifts
What's the Job?
Operate press brake or similar machinery efficiently and safely
Set up, adjust, and maintain equipment to meet production specifications
Position materials and tooling accurately according to specifications
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and continuous improvement initiatives
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent ability in reading, writing, and math
Knowledge of press operations, machine operation, and forklift operation
Ability to read measuring equipment such as tape measures and calipers
Ability to lift, slide, and turn heavy materials up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to safety procedures and compliance
