Imperial Forestry Forestry Workers (Temporary ) in CENTRAL POINT, Oregon
Employer is looking to fill io fill 170 Forestry Worker positions. This is a temporary full time seasonal position from 4/1/2026 to 10/25/2026.
Requirement: At least 18 due to travel. Have 3 months Commercial Brushsaw/Chainsaw experience. Applicants willing and qualified to perform work described and be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment.
Employer Note: Begin/report to work in Central Point, Jackson County, OR, 97502 at $20.65/hour. show proof of legal authority to work in the U.S. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone. Based on Employer's discretion/cost: worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/refusal to abide equals dismissal. Possible background check post hire at employer's expense Employer will transport workers daily between report to work address and additional work sites. Tentative Itinerary- continue throughout various counties/areas within the States: AZ, CA, CO, ID, MN, MT, NM, NV, OR, SD, UT, WA, and WY. The employer will comply with heat illness prevention requirements when theweather is above 80 degrees F.
Job Duties: Tree planting, grubbing/scalping, tubing, tree pruning, hand piling, tree thinning/TSI, fuel reduction, bud coping, nursery worker such as carry and pack baby trees, thinning, and weeding. If necessary ( only in the event of an unforeseen fire) and under the direct supervision of Fire Suppression Officers or Forestry Technicians: minor suppression via clearing/disposing of brush and piling and digging line/constructing "fire breaks"(manually digging small trench as needed).Incidental driving possible and other related Forestry Worker activities as per SOC/OES45-4011onetonline.org. Walk substantially (up to 15 miles/day) also stoop, bend while carrying a pack (up to 50lbs) through rough terrain(non-trail). Work is performed outdoors, exposed to weather; be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long Hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold.
Hours: Monday to Friday 6:30AM to 3:00PM. Offering 40(plus) Hours per week; not including applicable lunch or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday Worker Start/end times offered Hours or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between Worksites:(if applicable) Variable weather conditions apply; Hours may fluctuate possible downtime or overtime.
Wage: $17.72/hour up to possible $30.00/hour, overtime $26.58/Hour up to possible $45.00/Hour. Wage may vary based on Experience or location worked. Will use a single work week as its standard for computing wages due. Wage paid every 2 weeks. All deductions required by law will be made by the employer as well as any further tax withholding or other reasonable deduction(s) authorized by the worker.

The worker will be offered a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period.
All work will be done with employer provided tools, supplies and equipment w/o charge or deposit.
Optional, shared housing avail at no cost to the worker. Any worker who voluntarily abandons employ is not entitled to payment for outbound transportation or full 3/4s Guarantee described.
Inbound and Outbound Transportation (Initial Arrival & Contract Completion/Subsequent Departure): The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistenc e will be provided at the rate required at the time of travel (currently $16.28/day during travel to a maximum of $68/day with rec ipts).
Transportation and subsistence will be reimbursed (by check in 1st work week) for cost from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment. Will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (not including passport).
Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer.
