We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Product Risk Manager .

In this role you will:

  • Deal endorsement: Support assessment of new and renewal structured trade opportunities, including review of client financials and key risk indicators.

  • In-life monitoring & early warning: Monitor transactions and portfolio signals to identify deterioration, emerging risks, or control weaknesses.

  • Periodic reviews & remediation: Execute deal reviews triggered by client behaviour, portfolio indicators, or external changes; drive timely mitigation actions.

  • Portfolio oversight & MI: Produce periodic portfolio risk reporting, key metrics, and insights to support decision-making and governance.

  • Loss prevention & escalation: Escalate material credit, performance, or fraud risks promptly and partner with frontline/credit teams to reduce bad debt.

  • Non-financial risk & controls: Support country-level risk and control capability, including control testing (design/operating effectiveness), KCI reporting, and thematic analysis aligned to Group frameworks.

To be successful you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong knowledge of GTS products , ideally including Structured Trade Finance (e.g., Receivables Finance, Supply Chain Solutions, Commodities financing, Asset Backed Lending).

  • Solid understanding of risk and control frameworks , including risk management practices and relevant auditing standards.

  • Proven experience in risk management and/or audit within a global, matrix organisation; comfortable working across cultures and time zones.

  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deliver at pace.

  • Effective communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills; curious and solutions-oriented when exploring new deal structures.

  • Commercial acumen : understands client needs and business drivers; proposes mitigants that enable execution.

  • Structured problem-solving: root cause analysis, control design, and pragmatic remediation planning.

  • Resilience & pace: manages competing priorities, escalations, and deadlines across time zones.
