What You'll Do
As anAssistant Plant Managerat Nucor Tubular Products in Cedar Springs, you will serve as a bridge between the leadership and frontline supervisors. Your focus will be ensuring the department operates safely, efficiently, and profitability while focusing on strategic planning, resource allocation, and achieving long-term goals. You will oversee a product line department that has around 30 - 40 teammatesand manage a revenue under supervision of about $80 million dollars.

See how day to day operations can be optimized to achieve long-term strategy goals and initiatives
Be responsible for developing and coaching effective leaders by providing regular and constructive feedback
Determine which operational goals need to be achieved to drive continuous improvement and commercial excellence
Leading organization-wide continuous improvement by setting SMART goals and creating innovative business solutions
Drive profitability by optimizing the production process to achievement high value through low costs
What You'll Need:
A strong work-ethic and can-do attitude
The willingness to learn the industry. Prior experience in Electroplating/EGV/HDG operations is a plus, but not a requirement.
7 years of demonstrated experience managing and leading others
2 to 4 years in operations, maintenance, industrial, or manufacturing setting
Bachelors degree in math, science, or engineering is preferred
Willingness to work a flexible schedule that can include 60+ hour work weeks days and night shift included
Proficiency at creating excel spreadsheets
Proficiency in developing and presenting PowerPoint presentations
Willingness to relocate is a plus
