Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support and demonstrate excellence to our Cedar Rapids production workforce. As a Systems Administrator II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Responsibilities:
Daily management of the ServiceNow dashboard
Providing clear communication during and after troubleshooting incident tickets
Ensuring quick resolution times for incidents and requests through the facility
Collaborating with other BAE IT groups to ensure IT assets meet security compliance standards
Serving as a mid-tier escalation point for other System Administrators
Working with Senior System Administrators on projects and occasionally taking on a project lead role
Creating, deploying, and maintaining server infrastructure
Creating and maintaining documentation
Work Schedule:
Full-time onsite position
Weekly on-call rotation with other System Administrators
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Requirements:
High School Diploma, 6 year's experience
4 years of experience in the industry
CompTIA Security Certification
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree, 4 year's experience
Microsoft Active Directory
Server Virtualization and Management
Backup Infrastructure Management
Networking Fundamentals (VLANs, Protocols, IPv4 Configurations)
Experience with a wide range of Windows OSs (Windows 98 to Windows 11)
Windows PowerShell Scripting
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 40 pounds and move into positions either standing or kneeling
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72150 - $122655
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
