How You'll Work :
Location : 201 1 st St SE Cedar Rapids, IA 52401
Hours : Sunday to Tuesday and every other Wednesday (9:00 am-9:00 pm)
Compensation : This pay scale represents a good faith estimate of the salary wage range the company reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position between $50,720-$65,925 per year. A final offer amount will depend on factors such as prior relevant experience, skills, and location.

About the Role :
Ensuring the safety and compliance of an organization with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Safety and compliance professionals play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating risks, developing, and implementing safety programs, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. They conduct risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and develop strategies to mitigate risks. They also provide training to employees on safety protocols, investigate accidents or incidents, and ensure compliance.
What You'll Do :
Lead a team that: Effectively coaches and mentor’s drivers on behaviors that need to be corrected and encouraged while operating a commercial motor vehicle or performing other duties
Develops relationships with drivers, contractors, and driver support staff to develop improved safety performance and encourage retention
Reviews incoming video events from onboard safety technology to use with effective coaching
Provide guidance on compliance inquiries and ensure understanding by the requestor
Provide second-level support and information gathering for all accidents and injuries
Communicate accidents and injuries to other leaders in levels of upper management
Process inbound and outbound calls and messages

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
