CBRE Owners Representative/Project Manager System Controls Lead - Hyper Scale Data Centers in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
About the role:
The Senior ControlsManager/Owner's Representative leads all aspects of data center constructionprojects for our global tech client in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Sr. PM/Owner's Repoversees vendor compliance with construction documents and program requirementsto improve and standardize data center controls execution processes.
This job is part ofthe Project Management function responsible for the management of projects frominitiation through completion. This role requires onsite presence in CedarRapids, IA. We are willing to provide relocation assistance for the rightcandidate.
What you’ll do:
Providethorough verbal and written technical guidance to control integration partnersdeploying SCADA and PLC systems.
Developingand troubleshooting FactoryTalk applications.
Developingand troubleshooting Ignition applications.
Developingand troubleshooting Rockwell PLC programs.
Modbus,BACnet, VLAN (sub-networks), Cisco switch configuration
SchneiderElectric PowerSCADA.
Supportonsite commissioning of electrical switchgear and mechanical cooling equipment.
Createdocumentation to improve and standardize data center controls executionprocesses. Including creating new specifications and updating existing.
Provideverbal and written feedback to internal teams to drive continuous productimprovements. Including creating bounty bugs that include a problem statementwith a proposed solution.
Travel toconstruction sites (2 trip a month) to audit quality, provide feedback, andtechnical guidance to site controls vendors.
Remotelytroubleshoot and solve high priority site issues as they arise.
Work withvarious onsite GC/CSI teams to ensure they are adhering to best practices,maintaining asset trackers, updating checkout sheets, and are executing highquality work while remaining on schedule.
What you’ll need:
Applicants must be currentlyauthorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorshipnow or in the future.
Bachelor's Degree preferred with8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination ofexperience and education will be considered.
Missioncritical and/or industrial facilities project management. Technical projectmanagement with Hyperscale Data Center experience preferred.
Strongknowledge of MEP construction management with a solid track record of leadingcapital projects is required.
Google Suite applicationsexperience. Knowledge of BIM or Autodesk ACC is preferred. P6 and Bluebeamexperience is helpful.
