About the role
CBRE is seekingan onsite Construction Project Manager focused on networkinfrastructure/security construction projects in Cedar Rapids, IA for aHyperscale Data Center. The Construction Project Manager will apply theirexperience and technical expertise to lead complex projects with numerouscross-functional teams. CPM will plan requirements with internal customers andexternal partners to guide projects through the entire project lifecycleincluding working with customers to develop project scopes, leading projectschedules and cost, identifying risks and clearly presenting goals to projectcollaborators. Responsible for resolving highly critical issues within matrixorganization while maintaining detailed adherence to project timelines andcosts.

What you’ll do
• Conduct thestructured fiber kickoff meeting and monitor the design for OSP and ISP.
• Facilitate theclient \"radio\" kickoff meeting and work with the vendor tocompletion.
• Acting as theprimary liaison to network infrastructure/security-related owner
• Constructionprogress reviews and construction quality reviews via weekly site walks
• Facilitate weeklydata center hall walks with as needed
• Perform fieldsafety walks and input Boots On The Ground with observations. Ensure EH&Scompliance.
• Collect ownerstakeholder needs and expectations, gaining and maintaining collaboratorssupport, mitigating/channeling opposition.
• Schedules reviewsto make sure turning points on checklist are adhered to as well as ensuringstructured fiber is complete according to schedule of ancillary systems thatrequire connectivity
• FacilitateSecurity kickoff meeting works with GC
• Attend weeklyconstruction meetings
• Develop scope andRFP Issuance
• OFCI procurement- BOM review and RFQ Issuance
• GEN switches andWAPS
• Security archives
• Bundled fiber
• Purchase of OFEstructured fiber
• Initiate end toend funding requests for projects
• Manage\"Buganizer\" - application to update risk/rappy & fluxx
• Resolving issuesand producing post-mortems when SLO commitments are missed.
• Initiate requestsand provide requested information needed for Smart Track Work Package Creation
• Complete SmartTrack enrollment, submit employee compliance documents, and onboarding class.
• Own furnishedmaterial management
• Update QuickBase(project management tool) requests and ensure it is up to date
• Perform initialreview and approval of invoices before advancing to final review and approvalto PO owner
• Manage thecontractor to ensure goals are being met and complete monthly actualization.
• Lead Change andRisk Management.
• Budget Managementand Cashflow reporting
• Schedule andachievement reporting
• Complete projectclosure actions
• Supervisesite-level productivity and efficiency on a regular basis
What you’ll need
• Applicants mustbe currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visasponsorship now or in the future
• Bachelor's Degreepreferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, acombination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP,and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
• Constructionproject/program management experience. Fiber optic systems and low voltagetelecom/security, preferably in the data center environment, is helpful but notrequired.
• Experiencehandling vendor relationships and understanding of standard practices in thedesign and construction industry, including knowledge of fast track designbuild processes.
• Demonstratedskills in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization,scheduling and achieving objectives on schedule, and within budget.
• BICSI, RCDD,RTPM, PMP, or similar industry certifications are highly desired.
What You’ll Need

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education may be considered.
Experience in at least two engineering design cycles including specification,componentselectionand programming.
5+ years of experience with programming HMI components.
5+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
5+ years of experience withroboticssystem components and controls.
3+ years of experience with SCADA systems.
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills and the ability to solve advanced problems in complex situations.
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information and make recommendations in support of the client and company.
Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to various sites within your assigned region.
Ability to be available andworka flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with crafting automated alarms, reports, metrics for plant management, and HMI for operational equipment configuration/settings.
4+ years Allen Bradley PLC programming experience usingRSLogix5000 andRSLinxexperience with at least two full cycles of PLC ladder logic code design,developmentand testing.
Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Organizational skills with anadvancedinquisitive mindset.
Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
Project management and developmentmethodologyexperience.

Chief Building Engineer position is $92,000 annually [or $44.23 per hour] and the maximum salary for the position is $98000 annually [$47.11 hourly]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
