Traveling Millwright
We’re hiring experienced Traveling Millwrights to support the installation, dismantling, and maintenance of conveying and grain‑handling systems at industrial and agricultural facilities nationwide. This role is ideal for mechanically skilled professionals who enjoy hands‑on work, full‑time travel, and long‑term project stability .
? What You’ll Do
Assemble, erect, and dismantle steel structures and conveying systems
Install, align, level, and anchor industrial equipment and machinery
Perform mechanical work on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, flow meters, and bagging systems
Interpret and work from blueprints, shop drawings, and layout plans
Perform non‑critical welding and fabrication (stick, MIG, TIG)
Execute complex rigging and precision equipment moves inside active plants
Assist with pipe fitting, threading, and piping related to equipment installation
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs as needed
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
Work at heights when required during installation and tear‑down
Collaborate with a small crew under a foreman or superintendent
Travel 100% of the time on a rotating 10‑days‑on / 4‑days‑off schedule
✔️ What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience installing conveyor or industrial equipment
Millwright or industrial mechanical experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings
Experience with rigging and setting heavy equipment
Basic welding experience (stick and/or MIG)
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to lift and position heavy components
Comfort working at heights
Willingness and ability to travel full‑time

Job‑site welding or fabrication experience
MIG or TIG welding experience
Pipe fitting or piping experience
Experience working in grain elevators, ethanol plants, or ag processing facilities
Hydraulics or mechanical maintenance experience
? Work Environment
Industrial job sites including grain elevators, ethanol plants, and ag processing facilities
Indoor and outdoor work depending on project
Small, tight‑knit crews (typically 4–5 people)
PPE provided (hard hat, hi‑vis vest, gloves, safety glasses)
Emphasis on safety, planning, and teamwork

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
