About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, experienced HR Generalist to play a key role in supporting people, culture, and operational goals for our clients team. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, providing advanced guidance across the full spectrum of HR functions. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to proactively identify and implement HR solutions that strengthen the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Engagement
Serve as a primary resource for employee relations inquiries, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
Partner with leaders to promote a positive, productive, and inclusive workplace culture.
Conduct thorough investigations and provide recommendations aligned with organizational policies and legal requirements.
Talent Management & Development
Support workforce planning, talent assessments, and succession-planning initiatives.
Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
Coach managers on performance management best practices, documentation, and employee development.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Lead full-cycle recruitment for mid-level and specialized roles.
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ensure alignment with organizational needs.
Oversee a seamless onboarding experience to support new-hire success and retention.
Compensation & Benefits
Support annual compensation cycles, salary benchmarking, and job evaluations.
Partner with benefits teams to resolve complex employee benefit questions and support open enrollment efforts.
Ensure equitable application of pay practices and compliance with wage and hour laws.
Compliance & HR Operations
Maintain thorough, compliant personnel records and ensure HR processes adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.
Review and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures as needed.
Analyze HR metrics and present insights that support data‑driven decision-making.
Organizational Support
Provide HR guidance during organizational changes, restructures, and transitions.
Lead or support HR projects, process improvements, and culture initiatives.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the organization.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification preferred: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
3+ years of professional HR experience; prior experience in a generalist or business partner role required.
Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues with discretion and sound judgment.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
