Aerotek Apprentice Electrician in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
NOW HIRING - Apprentice Electrician
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician with 1–2 years of residential electrical experience to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA. The right candidate will work on residential electrical projects, performing installations and assisting with service work. The ideal candidate will be able to install light switches, receptacles, and light fixtures independently and demonstrate a solid understanding of residential electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
-Install light switches, receptacles, and light fixtures without supervision
-Assist with residential electrical rough‑ins and trim‑outs
-Troubleshoot basic electrical issues
-Follow safety protocols and industry standards
-Work professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
-Maintain a clean and organized job site
Requirements:
-1–2 years of residential electrical experience
-Ability to work independently on basic electrical installations
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
-Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
