Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice to join our team! This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow their career in the electrical trade. You will work under the supervision of licensed electricians, assisting with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and new constuction settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist Jourman Electricians with installation of wiring, fixtures, and electrical systems
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using hand tools and power tools
- Pull wire through conduit and walls
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Prepare and clean work areas before and after job completion
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times
- Load and unload materials and supplies (occasional 50lb+)
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising electrician
- Ability to work 8-10 hrs per day, 40 hrs per week, overtime, night shift (if required by project)
- Occasional Travel (lodging and per diem is covered by Employer)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Drivers License
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range is $15-$17/hr based off experience
- Full Tuition Expense for ABC Apprenticeship Program is paid by Chad's Electric
- Chad's Electric covers 75% Healthcare Premium
