Description:

Join Our Cedar Falls Surgical Team as an OR Facilitator!

We’re looking for a dynamic nurse leader to serve as the key liaison between the Operating Room, PACU, and other departments, ensuring smooth surgical operations and exceptional patient care. In this role, you’ll coordinate cases, manage schedules, and provide clinical expertise while mentoring staff and promoting a culture of safety. You’ll work with diverse patient populations and collaborate closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to optimize efficiency and quality. Schedule:

  • 1.0 FTE

  • Day Shift

  • 8 Hour Shifts

  • Monday - Friday

  • Generally 7 am to 3:30 pm (hours could fluctuate based on department need)

  • No call, weekends or holidays!

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursingisrequired.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)ispreferred.

  • Current Iowa RNlicenserequired.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) isrequiredwithin three (3) months of hire.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) isrequiredwithin three (3) months of hire.

  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter for both Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training isrequiredwithin six (6) months of hire.

  • Specialty practice certification ispreferred..
