Day to day responsibilities of this position:Collect and review biological data and get to know the wildlife resources in your districtMake innovative hunt recommendations that allow for increased hunter opportunityWrite and review Species Management Plans that allow for species sustainabilityWork with a team of other DWR Employees to implement the priorities of the Wildlife SectionImplement the core values of the DWRAssist private landowners, conservation groups, and state and federal government agencies with wildlife challenges and opportunitiesAssist the region in big picture mule deer recovery, supporting local mule deer working groups, collaring efforts/ mortalities summaries, mule deer recovery studies, evaluating regional conservation leases.
