Cañon City is proud of their rich heritage and many cultural and artistic venues. Located in the Southcentral portion of Colorado, it is a Home Rule Municipality and the county seat of Fremont County. It is a Council-Administrator form of government with the Administrator reporting directly to the City Council. Cañon City was founded in 1858 during the Pike's Peak Gold Rush and was originally intended as a commercial center for mining in South Park and the upper Arkansas River. With a city population of over 16,700, Cañon City straddles the easterly flowing Arkansas River and is a popular tourist destination for whitewater rafting, sightseeing and rock climbing.
ABOUT THE POSITION

Under the direction of the Parks Foreman, provide customer service to all guests, monitor guests while inside the facility and assist with the cleanliness of facility area.
Duties Include:
· Monitor guests as they enter and exit the Splash Pad.
· Monitor guests during their utilization of splash pad and enforce safety rules and guidelines.
· Assist patrons with questions and/or concerns; assist in incidents and/or accidents.
· Monitor facility for trash and debris and perform appropriate cleanup and disinfection.
· Regularly check pool chemical levels and document readings.
· Enforce established policy and procedures throughout the facility.
· Provides excellent customer service to external and internal customers including but not limited to effectively listening and communicating, providing accurate information, offering solutions, assisting in resolution, and ensuring timely follow up as needed.
