Fremont Sanitation D Engineering Technician in Cañon City, Colorado
Fremont Sanitation District (FSD) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Engineering Technician in the Engineering Department.
The Engineering Technician is responsible for the design and development of sanitary sewer line plans for new and replacement sewer systems. This position works under the supervision of the District Engineer to accurately and efficiently complete all phases of work, from surveying and collecting data in the field, to rendering detailed final drawings for planning and construction projects. The Engineering Technician also plays an active role in contracted sanitary sewer construction and rehabilitation projects, performing detailed inspections and documenting conformance with plans and specifications.
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour per week schedule. Hours are normally 7:00 AM -- 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, although hours can possibly be adjusted to meet the needs of the selected candidate. May be required to work during emergency situations.
The position will be filled at one of the following levels, depending on the successful candidate's qualifications:
•Engineering Technician I (Salary Range $51,533 - $72,150)
•Engineering Technician II (Salary Range $56,815 - $79,545)
•Engineering Technician II (Salary Range $62,638 - $87,698)
Upon offer of employment, selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background check, including employment references, criminal history, and driving record review.
