Project Overview
The Project Manager will play a key role in advancing the infrastructure and security modernization initiatives across enterprise environments, including server, network, cloud, endpoint, identity, and core platform services.
This role requires strong cross-functional coordination with infrastructure, security, operations, application teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Governance
Collaborate with IT leadership to confirm strategic priorities and identify capability gaps
Support development, governance, and management of the IT infrastructure and security project portfolio
Lead infrastructure and security projects through the full project lifecycle
Ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and defined objectives
Ensure adherence to agency IT governance and change management processes
Planning, Requirements & Documentation
Develop project charters, scope statements, milestones, and success criteria
Define, document, and track business and technical requirements
Prepare needs analyses, business cases, and feasibility studies
Maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the lifecycle
Develop future-state workflows and supporting materials
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate efforts across infrastructure, security, operations, application teams, and stakeholders
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and executive briefings
Manage communication plans and status reporting
Support audit readiness through documentation and evidence tracking
Risk, Quality & Compliance
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies
Maintain risk registers, issue logs, and decision records
Ensure alignment with cybersecurity and regulatory frameworks, including:
NIST 800-53
NIST Cybersecurity Framework
FISMA
CIS Controls
State security standards
Support development of policies, procedures, and training materials
Ensure compliance with agency security policies and regulatory requirements
Project Execution & Reporting
Develop detailed work plans and manage scope, budget, and schedule
Monitor project progress using enterprise tools and dashboards
Provide executive-level status reporting
Coordinate change requests and recommend adjustments
Perform post-implementation reviews
Maintain centralized visibility across modernization initiatives
Required Skills (Ranked)
3+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager
3+ years of enterprise network infrastructure experience (LAN/WAN fundamentals)
3+ years working with NIST Cybersecurity Framework or similar (NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, CIS)
3+ years of cloud platform experience (Clienture and/or AWS)
3+ years of Active Directory experience
3+ years with endpoint management platforms
2+ years using Clienture DevOps, SharePoint, MS Project, and/or Excel
Preferred Skills
Public sector security/infrastructure project management experience
Experience with CDC, HIPAA, and CJIS compliance requirements
Active PMP certification

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
