Description
Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full-cycle payables in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong data entry accuracy, hands-on experience with purchase orders, and the ability to handle high-volume invoice processing while maintaining strict attention to detail and deadlines. Key Responsibilities
Process high volumes of invoices daily with a focus on speed and accuracy
Perform full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice receipt, coding, matching, approval routing, and payment processing
Execute 2-way and 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents
Enter and maintain large amounts of financial data in the accounting system with a high degree of precision
Review and verify invoices for discrepancies, correct pricing, and proper authorization
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues
Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
Maintain organized and audit-ready AP files and documentation
Reconcile vendor statements and ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances
Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and reporting
Requirements
Qualifications
2+ years of accounts payable experience, including full-cycle processing
Strong experience with purchase orders and invoice matching (2-way/3-way)
Proven ability to handle heavy data entry with speed and accuracy
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
