Job Summary
MOR PPM Inc. is seeking craft plant support in Catawba, SC.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Mechanical aptitude to perform equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime.
Adjust equipment setting to optimize the separation process.
Dispose of waste materials according to your discretion.
Able to operate the equipment for disposal of material.
Attention to detail.
Able to notice the change in the effluent and material and what to do with that change.
Able to report on issues or changes throughout the day.
Knowledge of how valves operate
Qualifications
High school education or equivalent
Basic mechanical knowledge.
Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
1-2 years experience in a related field
Physical Demands
Occasional lifting of items weighting a maximum of 50 pounds.
Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24’ high.
Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.
Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.
Weather conditions that can be expected are wet, humid, heat and cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.
The job requires normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.
