We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a well-established construction company based in Castle Rock, Colorado. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage financial operations in a hands-on environment while contributing to the company’s success. Responsibilities:
• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Manage job costing processes to ensure accurate tracking and allocation of project expenses.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with project managers to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Maintain and organize financial documentation, including scanning and compiling records.
• Implement controls to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency.
• Supervise the preparation and review of financial statements.
• Lead the development and monitoring of internal policies and procedures.
• Coordinate audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong expertise in job costing and project-based accounting.
• Proficiency in managing document control, scanning, and compiling financial records.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
