Job Summary
Behavior Technicians support and assist assigned teaching and administrative personnel in the implementation of behavior intervention plans and the supervision of students. This includes providing direct behavior support, collecting data on student progress, and facilitating social-emotional growth under the direction of a lead teacher or behavior specialist.
Job Description
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to support student success.
- Collect and record accurate data on student behaviors to inform instructional and behavioral decisions.
- Work with small groups or individual students to facilitate social skills and emotional regulation activities.
- Supervise lunch, recess, and transitions to ensure a safe and positive environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to prepare materials that support behavioral and social-emotional goals.
- Assist with classroom management and provide crisis intervention support when necessary.
- Maintain professionalism in communication with students, staff, and families.
Job Requirements:
