Stewart's Market in Castle Dale, UT is seeking to hire a Grocery Stocker

Position Overview:

 Stocker duties and responsibilities include receiving the product, stocking it in the correct place on the shelf, and rotating stock to ensure freshness. The team member will also assist customers with questions to help them locate products throughout the store. 

Key Responsibilities.

1. Team members receive and unload grocery store merchandise, handling it carefully and efficiently.
2. The team members inspect products for damage or defects to maintain quality standards.
3. Team members restock shelves with fresh merchandise, ensuring items are neatly organized and easily accessible to customers.
4. They rotate stock to ensure product freshness, placing newer items behind older ones.
5. They create attractive displays of merchandise to enhance the shopping experience.
6. The team members will help maintain cleanliness in the product aisle and the backroom.
7. Team members greet customers and assist with any grocery items or pricing questions.
8. The team member should be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
9. The team member must adhere to the store and grocery department uniform guidelines and maintain a professional appearance. 

Qualifications:

• Must be able to communicate concisely, accurately, and efficiently
• Must be able to work cooperatively with others.
• Should demonstrate vital customer service and communication skills.
• The team member should be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail is needed to maintain correct product placement. 

Wage and schedule will be negotiated with employer.
