Job Description
Seeking a skilled and knowledgeable multi-craft maintenance technician to add to our team. This technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient manufacturing operations. This role works closely with production teams to minimize downtime, ensure equipment reliability, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair aluminum extrusion machines, including 3-phase 480V motors, servo and AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, extruders, VFDs, and gearboxes.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as greasing bearings, tightening bolts, inspecting components, and addressing wear before failures occur.
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using schematics, including electrical troubleshooting of 3-phase power, motors, controls, and related systems.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment to identify and resolve faults that affect machine performance and production output.
Work on additional equipment such as CNC machines, brake presses, lasers, and powder coating machines as maintenance needs arise.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Hands-on experience with hydraulic presses and hydraulic systems in a production setting.
Ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and interpret PLC-related faults at the machine level.
Proficiency in reading and using electrical and mechanical schematics for troubleshooting.
Experience with maintenance and repair of aluminum extrusion or similar heavy industrial equipment is highly beneficial.
Welding skills for repair and fabrication tasks are a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
