Essential Functions1. Drives center vehicles.2. Maintains center vehicles in a clean and safe manner.3. Performs accurate and timely recording and reporting.4. Transports non-residential students to and from the center.5. Transports students to and from work-based learning (WBL) and off-center training, activities, andmedical/dental appointments.6. Transports students to and from the centers designated arrival point using government-paidtransportation.7. Models, mentors, and monitors the positive normative culture of the center.8. Acts as a responsible custodian for the assigned center property.9. Reports violations of unethical behavior.10. Suggests opportunities for continuous operational improvement and reduction of waste.11. Identifies and reports environmental health and safety concerns.12. Required Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent One year of experience as a driver Certifications/Competencies General knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair Ability to maintain a vehicle mechanically. Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Preferred Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people road, including the relative costs and benefits Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, Ability to promote the Career Success Standards (CSS) by modeling appropriatebehaviors, mentoring students when necessary, and monitoring both positive and negativebehaviors through interventions. Strong organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Minimum Eligibility Qualifications A valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record isrequired.
