Oftedal Construction, Inc. Shop Laborer in Casper, Wyoming
Power wash equipment, heavy highway trucks and trailers.
*Clean the shop as needed, perform safety checks of shop and office buildings and other janitorial duties as assigned. *
Operate various equipment including forklifts, trucks and heavy equipment.
*Assist diesel mechanics with repair of engines, transmissions, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems on diesel trucks, heavy equipment and light vehicles. *
*Will drive a company vehicle to deliver and/or pick up parts, supplies and equipment as needed. *
Ability to follow oral and written instructions, work cooperatively with others and keep accurate records.
Able to read and comprehend technical manuals, drawings and schematics.
*QUALIFICATIONS *
*Must have and maintain a clean MVR for the last 5 years. Must pass pre-employment drug test prior to working. *
*PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ABILITIES *
Position requires employee to frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, handle objects, reach outward, and reach above head and shoulders, climb, squat, kneel, bend, and occasionally carry/push/pull/move/drag or lift 50 lbs. alone or with assistance up to a height of 3 feet. * * *WORK ENVIRONMENT *
Work is inside a shop facility majority of time. Working conditions include flying dust, slipping hazards and conditions and frequently exposed to loud noise from heavy equipment and machinery and overhead head hazards. Frequent exposure to solvents, grease, oil, and dirt.
