CHATTOOGA CLUB INC Housekeeper in Cashiers, North Carolina

DESCRIPTION:

Job Functions:

The housekeeping role is a fast-paced and vital role to Club operations. This position must maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all facilities of the Club as directed by your manager. See to the daily and weekly duties of this job to sustain the cleanliness expected by members, guests, and administration, and in congruence with COVID-19 sanitizing protocols.

Expectations and Essential Duties:

Uphold standards of hygiene and sterilization as directed by the law and the facilitys policies and procedures.

Maintain a constructive, helpful attitude and promote a quality work environment.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in all facilities included but not limited to: Lodge and Lodge Rooms, Common Areas, Housekeeping Office and Laundry Room, Bathrooms, Back-of-the-House Common Areas, Life Enhancement Center and all facilities within including Fitness Rooms, Treatment Rooms, Common Areas, Offices, Kids Camp, Laundry Room, and any other areas as directed by administration.

Perform a variety of duties on a daily and weekly basis according to the housekeeping schedule and based on seasonal demands. This includes but is not limited to: laundry, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, ironing, and regularly sanitizing throughout the Club.

Ensure all Lodge rooms are cleaned and sanitized to Club standards and adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety.

Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when necessary - promptly notify manager if items need to be ordered.

Take any lost and found items promptly to the Front Desk

Notify managers of any damages or room issues requiring maintenance in a timely manner

Maintain a friendly disposition and hospitality mindset, especially when interacting with guests and members.

Report to work when scheduled, and on time.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to lift items up to 30 lbs

Some cleaning experience preferred

Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers and team members

Must be able to be on feet all or most of the day

Must be able to work around cleaning supplies and chemicals used to complete tasks

Must have a reliable source of transportation to get to and from work

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
