Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy machinery used in excavation and concrete work, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and skid steers.
- Perform excavation for foundations, grading, and site preparation.
- Assist with concrete-related tasks, including site prep and backfilling.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator (excavation and/or concrete work preferred).
- Knowledge of equipment capabilities, limitations, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and grade specifications.
- Valid drivers license (CDL preferred but not required).
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
