Designs, builds and repairs shop tooling and fabricated fixtures. Assists in the training of production workers and may lead and direct others DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Design build and repair: a. Shop Tooling b. Fabricated Fixtures c. Test tooling and Fixtures d. Utilize Blueprints and Design Sketches 2) Familiarity with variety of Field Concepts, Practices and Procedures. 3) Thorough knowledge of the strengths and properties of materials used. 4) Knowledge and Judgment to plan and accomplish goals in an efficient manner. 5) Ability to lead and direct the work of others. 6) Assist in training production workers in the safe and proper operation of shop tooling and fixtures. 7) All other assignments as requested by lead hands or management.
