Job Title: Clinical PharmacistJob Description
The Clinical Pharmacist plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of daily operations within the assigned patient care team. This position involves managing pharmacy staff, providing clinical support to patients, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations for prescription dispensing.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily operations of the assigned patient care team.
Provide clinical support to patients, ensuring prescriptions are dispensed in compliance with state, federal, and board of pharmacy laws.
Serve as the primary intake for all new team referrals initiated by telephone.
Commit to delivering 'outrageous customer service' in line with internal policies.
Build and maintain relationships with patients and clinicians to foster a supportive care environment.
Conduct comprehensive clinical reviews of pharmacotherapy, including drug utilization, compliance, drug interaction screening, side effect profiling, and drug administration support.
Essential Skills
PharmD degree.
Strong customer service skills.
Experience in counseling and direct patient care for 2-3 years.
Ability to manage a high call volume, potentially up to 30 calls a day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Excellent multitasking abilities.
Proficient in computer use.
Work Environment
The work schedule is hybrid, with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home, with hours from 9 AM to 6 PM. Onsite training is required for 3-4 weeks, and candidates must live within an hour's commute. The role requires a high level of multitasking and computer proficiency in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Cary, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
