Are you a BCBA ready to grow into a leadership role?
At Butterfly Effects, we are looking for a Lead BCBA to support and expand our afterschool clinical programming at our Cary Center. This position is designed for a BCBA who is interested in taking the next step in their career by combining clinical leadership with a manageable caseload.

Under the leadership of Dr. Steve Woolf, PhD, BCBA-D, President, and Molly McGinnis, M.Ed., BCBA, Vice President of Clinical Services, we have built a culture where clinical integrity, professional growth, and support for BCBAs are central to every decision.
In this role, you will maintain a smaller clinical caseload while partnering with the Center Director to support afternoon center operations, mentor clinical staff, and help guide the afterschool program that serves children and families in our community.
Total Compensation: Base salary $100,000 - $105,000 + quarterly performance incentives (up to $18,000 annually).
What Would You Be Doing?
As the Lead BCBA - Afterschool Clinical Program, you will:
Maintain a reduced clinical caseload receiving center-based ABA services
Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure consistent, high-quality therapy implementation
Support the Center Director with afternoon clinical operations and program coordination
Provide informal training and clinical guidance to afterschool program staff
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based ABA practices
Lead family training sessions to support long-term success and generalization of skills
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care for clients
This role is based in our Cary Center from 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM, aligning with our afterschool therapy program.

What Do You Bring to the Role?
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, or a related field
Active BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
Passion for working with children with autism and their families
Strong communication and leadership skills
Interest in developing leadership experience within a center-based program
