Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Cary, North Carolina
Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client in Cary, North Carolina. In this hybrid role, you will oversee crucial financial operations, including reporting across multiple entities, and play a key role in managing accounts payable and receivable processes. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with senior finance leaders while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
Responsibilities:
• Manage general ledger activities, including monthly close processes, reconciliations, and the preparation of financial reports.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely transaction reviews and follow-ups.
• Monitor cash flow and contribute to financial forecasting efforts to support organizational goals.
• Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards.
• Maintain precise financial records, including fixed assets, tax filings, and banking transactions.
• Provide financial data and reporting support to internal teams, fostering informed decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices in financial management.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• Public Accounting Experience, and CPA license strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of detail-oriented experience in accounting, including budgeting and multi-entity reporting.
• Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable processes, as well as audits and tax filings.
• Strong analytical skills with a commitment to accuracy and detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with financial systems or platforms such as QB, Great Planes is highly beneficial.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• A collaborative approach and detail-oriented demeanor in all interactions.
