Job Title: Wire Assembler
Job Description
As a Wire Assembler, you will be responsible for mounting electrical components and wiring automated machinery to ensure optimal performance. You will complete the full installation and integration of electrical systems on equipment, modify and assemble control boxes, and solder PC boards and cable assemblies.
Responsibilities
Mount electrical components and wire automated machinery for optimal performance.
Complete full installation and integration of electrical systems on equipment.
Modify, drill, assemble, and wire control boxes with precision and attention to detail.
Solder PC boards and cable assemblies, including high-density connectors.
Update and refine machine documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and electrical drawings.
Construct sophisticated electrical test fixtures for comprehensive testing.
Fulfill additional responsibilities as directed, demonstrating adaptability.

Hand strength for crimping wires
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office applications)
Mechanical assembly
Electrical production
Soldering
General labor and production
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Ability to read a tape measure
Proficiency in using wire crimping tools and hand tools
Good math skills
Ability to read and possibly create blueprints with guidance
Organizational skills

This is a Contract position based out of Cary, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
