Warp textiles, USA Textile Machine Operator in Carthage, North Carolina
Warp Textiles / MMC Textiles is currently seeking a Textile Machine Operator for our second shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm)
Skill needed:
*Must have the ability to walk and observe knitting machines and stop the machines if a defect occurs in the fabric.
Must have good eyesight and depth perception to be able to see the empty hole that the thread needs to be drawn back thru, using a knitters hook.
Able to read and understand information and be able to record any defect that occurs on the knitting machine defect sheet.
Must be able to help doff the machines when the rolls are full. (doff; means to take off)
Will need to be able to adjust to time management. (This means; You can not stay long at a machine for long periods of time without stopping to go and inspect other knitting machines)
Experience is a plus but not necessary. Will train in house.
